1. 表示“友好的”“好心的”，注意以下正误句型：
你来看我，实在太好了。
正：You are very nice to come and see me.
正：It’s very nice of you to come and see me.
误：That’s very nice of you to come and see me.
以上各句句首的 it为形式主语，不能改为 that；但是若以上句型后面不出现不定式，那么句首的 it 也可换为 that。如：
你太好了。
正：It’s very nice of you.
正：That’s very nice of you.
表示对某人友好，后接介词 to。如：
Try to be nice to my father when he visits. 我父亲到这里来时要尽量对他好些。
2. 表示“令人愉快的”（=pleasant），注意以下正误句型：
到陌生地方去玩真是有意思。
正：It is nice to visit new places.
正：It is nice visiting new places.
正：New places are nice to visit.
误：New places are nice to be visited.
3. 用于 nice and, 相当于 very。如：
It’s nice and warm by the fire. 坐在火边暖烘烘的。
You’ll have to get up nice and early. 你得起床很早。
4. 在口语中，nice 是一个使用频率很高的词。如：
It’s a nice day. 天气很好（谈论天气）。
Have a nice day. 祝你快乐（上午分别时的祝愿语）。
Nice to see you (again). 见到你真高兴（熟人或朋友之间见面时的惯用问候语）。
Nice seeing you. 真高兴与你相见（分别时用语）。
